For some it’s tradition, for others habit, but for 1st Abram, it’s an honour to represent The Scouts each year as part of Abram Community Remembrance Day.

For Scouts, we remember the loss of life by all in conflict, be they civilian, soldiers or even Scouts.  We remember the role that Scouts played in both World Wars, and are thankful that theirs was a duty we don’t have, our duty now, to encourage peace across the world.

We’d like to thank St John’s COfE Church for the service of remembrance, and 15th Wigan Boys Brigade & Girls Association, for the band and again, along with Wigan Council, NWAS and GMP for allowing us to parade in safety.
